I’ve decided to start sharing some of the behind-the-scenes numbers from Adelaide Glaziers, including our YouTube analytics.
Why? Because there really aren’t any secrets here.
I started posting more glazing videos simply to document the work I do every day — glass replacement, timber windows, aluminium windows, laminated glass, glazing techniques, tools and the things I’ve learned from years on the tools.
Since 4 August 2026, our YouTube Shorts have generated 33,400 views, 18,000 engaged views, 196 likes and 21 new subscribers.

Over the most recent 28 days, the channel generated 18,300 Shorts views, up 22% on the previous 28 days, while engaged views increased 27% to 10,100.

One number I’m particularly interested in is how many people actually stop to watch. Over the lifetime of the Shorts content, 55.4% stayed to watch. Over the latest 28 days, that has increased to 58.9%.

I’m still learning YouTube. Some videos work, some don’t, and sometimes the videos I expect to perform well go nowhere.
But that’s part of why I want to publish these numbers.
This website has become a bit of a diary of Adelaide Glaziers as much as it is a business website. I’m happy to show what I’m trying, what works, what doesn’t, and how the channel develops over time.
No secret formula. Just glazing work, videos, consistency and seeing where it goes.
